What could be called a great blessing for "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" enthusiasts and Ohmu collectors, the "TAKEYA-Style Jizai Okimono Ohmu," is now returning in an even more miniature size! The "Ohmu [Small]" will also be simultaneously released in three versions: Blue (Azure), Red (Crimson), and Clear, with an anticipated release in August 2023.
Planned and supervised by master sculptors Takayuki Takeya and Takashi Yamaguchi, fully supervised by Studio Ghibli, and produced by Sentinel, the "TAKEYA-Style Jizai Okimono Ohmu [Small]" measures 11.5 cm in length. Although the overall size has been reduced, its detailed charm remains undiminished, faithfully reproducing the 14 beautiful eyes, the hard shell covered with granules and protrusions, the abdomen with tentacles, and an astonishing number of legs. Coupled with an articulated design that can recreate body movements, it exudes an extremely realistic biological feel and vibrant vitality! The clear version offers beautiful visual effects and transparent appeal.
The original 23 cm "TAKEYA-Style Jizai Okimono Ohmu" allowed for eye color changes by flipping, but this smaller version directly offers two colors. Due to the price advantage brought by the reduced size, collectors will want to acquire multiple pieces to display both the normal and enraged states of the Ohmu simultaneously!
