Japanese designer toy brand REDSHARK has created a "Doppo Orochi" soft vinyl toy based on "Baki". This time, for the Hakaba Gallery's "Hakaba no Chikko Matsuri" (Glow-in-the-Dark Festival) project, a glow-in-the-dark version is being released! It is scheduled to go on sale on March 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM (Japan time) at Hakaba Gallery (Nakano store) and Hakaba Gallery ONLINE STORE. Fans of "Baki" should keep an eye out!
Doppo Orochi is the founder of the Orochi-ryu Karate style and the founder of the Shinshinkai karate organization. He holds titles such as "Martial God" and "Tiger Killer (虎殺し)"... This time, the soft vinyl figure of Doppo Orochi, standing at 19 cm tall, recreates him in his karate gi with a low-head-to-body ratio. In addition to sculpting his fearless smile and the eye patch over his right eye, it fully showcases his robust physique, honed through years of training! His left hand's 'karate chop' pose brings to mind the scene where he fought a 260 kg Siberian tiger. The karate gi also features excellent wrinkle sculpting, and the added glow-in-the-dark effect further enhances its collectible value.
▼ The glow-in-the-dark version of the Doppo Orochi soft vinyl figure will also come with a limited edition sticker.
