Japanese toy manufacturer MEDICOS, renowned for its "Super Action Statue" series, is set to release a black version of the popular character "Guido Mista" (グイード・ミスタ), a member of Bucciarati's gang from the fifth part of the popular anime and manga series "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", titled "Golden Wind", in November 2023!
The fifth part of the manga "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険), created by manga artist Hirohiko Araki, is subtitled "Golden Wind". Its story primarily follows the protagonist, Giorno Giovanna, who dreams of becoming a gang-star. He hopes to use power to improve his hometown's environment. After an initial conflict with Bucciarati, a member of the organization "Passione", they come to understand each other's true intentions. Consequently, Giorno and his companions form a team, aiming to defeat the organization's true mastermind, the Boss "Diavolo". For this purpose, they embark on a journey.
Mista serves as an assassin in Bucciarati's gang. He is straightforward, possesses excellent judgment and shooting skills, and is brave enough to sacrifice himself to protect his teammates. Originally a person full of a sense of justice, he was wrongly convicted due to an accident but was later bailed out by Bucciarati to join the organization. He is the only member of the team, besides Giorno and Trish, who survived after the final battle (if Fugo is not counted). His Stand is "Sex Pistols", which consists of six small figures, each with its own personality, capable of manipulating revolver bullets and possessing independent consciousness. Because Mista dislikes the number 4, the six figures are numbered 1 through 7.
This black version of Mista, released by MEDICOS, changes the original purple main visual of the previously released version to a more subdued black. The colors of the six small figures of his Stand, Sex Pistols, have also been changed from golden yellow to black and grey. Mista's handgun also features a different color, offering a distinct style compared to the previous initial release.
