Japan's GOODSMILECOMPANY, under its "Nendoroid" line of over a thousand types of posable figures, will release a new product from the TV anime "Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!", the "Nendoroid Mahiro Oyama". It will have a suggested retail price of 7,300 JPY and is expected to be released in September 2023.
The comedy manga "Onimai: I'm Now Your Sister!" (お兄ちゃんはおしまい！), created by Japanese manga artist Nekotofu, tells the story of "Mahiro Oyama", a shut-in obsessed with erotic games. One day, after drinking a transformation potion invented by his genius younger sister, Mahiro Oyama, he unexpectedly turns into a girl! Having been a shut-in for many years with little to no social contact, Mahiro, with the help of his sister, slowly adapts to life in a female body and, in the process, re-evaluates his life.
The "Nendoroid Mahiro Oyama" posable figure, approximately 10 cm tall, renders Mahiro-chan in her school uniform in a cute, chibi style, faithfully reproducing the soft color palette from the anime. Her prominent ahoge (cowlick) and sparkling, watery eyes are also adorably recreated! It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "blushing face" for when she's unaccustomed to her female body, a "crying face" for when she's at a loss, and a gentle, squinting "smiling face". Paired with interchangeable hand parts and accessories such as a "game controller" and a "plushie", you can recreate various scenes from the series.
