BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division in Japan, under its "Figure-rise Standard Amplified" series, which enhances character designs and the dynamic expression of plastic models, has announced its latest product from "Yu-Gi-Oh!", "Summoned God Exodia". The suggested retail price is 5,280 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2023.
"Exodia the Forbidden One" is a classic ultimate ace card in the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" story; playing this card instantly grants victory in the game. Exodia the Forbidden One is a demon god named Summoned God "Exodia", possessing immense power, but was sealed away due to its widespread malevolence. Its torso and four limbs were each sealed within five stone tablets, scattered across the world. All five pieces must be collected in hand to summon Exodia.
The "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Summoned God Exodia" recently had parts of its colored prototype revealed on the official Twitter (@HobbySite). In addition to showcasing Exodia's fierce facial details and the ancient Egyptian-style gold and red color scheme with intricate engravings on its body through the plastic model, it also faithfully recreates the card's depiction of its hands and feet bound by steel chains!

Once assembled, the figure stands at 210mm, showcasing an impressive sense of scale! Its powerful sculpt is achieved through precise part separation and molding, with characteristic facial features and body patterns meticulously recreated through fine part division. Ball joints are used in the neck and chest/waist, while the shoulder armor features special two-axis movable joints to minimize interference and expand posing range. The chain parts for the hands and feet are composed of multiple segments, allowing users to assemble them to their desired length.
