YoRHa No.2 Type B
“Everything that lives is designed to end. We are forever trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death.”

The story is set in the distant future, where Earth has been completely overrun by alien machine lifeforms, forcing humanity to relocate to the moon. To reclaim Earth, humanity dispatches the android unit "YoRHa" to descend upon Earth and eliminate the machine lifeforms. This work centers on the new android models, Type B No.2 and Type S No.9, among others, depicting the long war between the two factions. There are a total of 27 endings (A-Z and DLC endings), with 5 main story endings, 1 DLC ending, and the remaining 21 being special GAME OVERs caused by death, failure, or other improper actions under specific circumstances.
YoRHa No.2 Type B (Battle), or 2B, is the protagonist of NieR:Automata Route A. She is a member of the "YoRHa unit," characterized by her deep and calm judgment, aiming to represent the surviving humans in their fight against the machine lifeforms invading Earth. She served during the 14th Machine War.
2B is a multi-purpose battle android, deployed as a member of the automated YoRHa infantry. She is equipped with various melee weapons and can attack from long range using the Pod support system. Her total height is 168cm (including heels), and her weight is 148.8kg. Her true identity is Type E No.2, belonging to the "Executioner Unit" (Execute) under the "YoRHa unit."
The scale is approximately 1:8. The main body features numerous movable joints, offering decent articulation. Additionally, it comes with a complete Lolita battle outfit, based on the original design, with black as the main color. Besides the POD, accessories include two main weapons from the game: a katana and a holy sword! And of course, most importantly, the white underwear lower body sculpt for the self-destruct device... As for face sculpts, it includes a version with the blindfold removed and a roaring face. Unfortunately, without using the display stand, her high-heeled design makes it very difficult for her to stand naturally... Thankfully, the stand's design is good.
While its selling point is its sculpt, its biggest drawback is also its sculpt. The "ugly spots" at the joints are poorly handled. The exposed ball joints are very unsightly. Although the female body lines are well-sculpted, the most appealing curve is poorly executed - the hips! When you make large movements, those gaps are simply maddening... These flaws significantly detract from the overall score. Another fatal flaw of the Play Arts Kai series is QC! Upon closer inspection, the paint bleed and paint application issues are quite severe. But frankly, articulated toys, apart from model kits, are truly few and far between... So, fans who love her can only obediently open their wallets, just like I did...
In summary, if you have love for her, you might be disappointed. The figure itself still has room for improvement, but as a toy, it is a passable product!
