Under the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, the "Figure-rise Standard Amplified" series, which enhances character designs and the dynamic expression of model kits, has announced the latest product from "Digimon Adventure 02", the "Figure-rise Standard BlackWarGreymon" model kit. It has a suggested retail price of 2,200 JPY and is scheduled for release in August 2023.
In the TV anime "Digimon Adventure 02", BlackWarGreymon is a Virus-type WarGreymon feared by others as the "Jet Black Dragon Warrior". An existence completely opposite to WarGreymon, BlackWarGreymon possesses its own "justice," despising cowardly tactics, and thus does not consider vulgar Digimon of the same Virus type to be its allies.
The "Figure-rise Standard BlackWarGreymon" model kit faithfully recreates its anime appearance. Its characteristic black armor utilizes metallic molding colors, composed of three metallic hues—black, silver, and gold—to reproduce its impressive coloration, conveying a metallic hardness and sense of weight. The entire body features flexible movable joints, allowing for various poses such as raised arms, puffed chest, and wide-stance legs, enabling fans to recreate cool battle poses from the series, including its signature special moves like "Terra Destroyer" and "Dramon Killer"!
