Japanese toy brand T-ARTS, a subsidiary of TAKARA TOMY Company, is set to release a set of gashapon toys from the "Back to the Future" film series this March: "Back to the Future -Movie Item Collection-" (バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー -ムービーアイテムコレクション-)!
In the "Back to the Future" trilogy, besides the "DeLorean Time Machine" which has become a great symbol for a generation, there are many other classic props that fans fondly remember. This time, T-ARTS has brought them to life in three dimensions, even at a size of approximately 6 cm, and has incorporated playability and LED light-up mechanisms, allowing collectors to experience the immersion of watching the movie while enjoying their collection! There are a total of 5 types, including the "Flux Capacitor", the "Mind Reading Helmet", the nuclear fusion device "Mr. Fusion", the Hoverboard, and the wooden time machine model that appeared in the third installment.
Judging from the official images, the reproduction accuracy and detail of each prop are quite good. Moreover, the Flux Capacitor can light up, and Mr. Fusion has an opening function, which is fantastic. The Mind Reading Helmet might even be used with action figures and various humanoid toys; additionally, each gashapon in this collection comes with a "Back to the Future" logo nameplate and a ball chain, allowing them to be used as charms~ I want every single one, let's collect the whole set!
