Kotobukiya, a Japanese toy company, recently announced the release of its latest product, the "EZ-027 Rev Raptor Night Patrol Specification," from its ZOIDS plastic model kit series 'HMM', scheduled for September 2023. This product will be sold exclusively through Kotobukiya's official channels.
The "HMM ZOIDS EZ-027 Rev Raptor Night Patrol Specification" is a special color limited edition based on the general release kit from 2021. The original red, white, and black armor colors have been modified to a purple-black scheme suitable for special forces carrying out night patrol and reconnaissance missions. The overall design is identical to the general release, with an openable cockpit in the head to accommodate a pilot figure, and the internal ZOIDS core can also be removed.
The movable parts, including the mouth, neck, torso, limbs, tail, and scythe-like claws, all feature flexible joints, allowing for fierce, velociraptor-like action poses. The massive "Pile Bunker" weapon mounted on the back includes not only a gold molded color version but also an additional electroplated gold version, allowing for the recreation of the appearance of early TOMY ZOIDS products. Furthermore, 3mm hardpoints of a common standard are provided on the outer sides of both arms and the abdomen, enabling free addition of weapons and customization of the unit!
