The highly anticipated animated film, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," is set to officially release globally starting April 5, 2023. Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, under its immensely popular "Ichiban Kuji (一番くじ)" brand, which guarantees a prize with every draw, also announced today its latest product themed after this movie, "Ichiban Kuji The Super Mario Bros. Movie," scheduled for release on May 13, 2023.
Co-produced by Illumination and Nintendo, "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" is adapted from Nintendo's most popular classic video game series, "Mario," and incorporates elements from various games such as "Super Mario Bros.," "Donkey Kong," and "Mario Kart" into its settings. The plot describes brothers Mario and Luigi, who run a plumbing business in New York, arriving in a magical world after passing through a mysterious pipe, where they meet Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom and many other companions, working together to fight against the great demon king Bowser.
"Ichiban Kuji The Super Mario Bros. Movie" currently features 7 types of prizes. The grand prizes, A and B, are a Question Block cushion and a Super Mushroom cushion, respectively. Prizes C to E are daily necessities such as illustrated cups, towels, and melamine plates, all incorporating Mario design elements. The most precious and rare LAST ONE prize and the Double Chance campaign prize are the Super Star Invincibility Cushion and a Pipe-shaped Cushion, respectively!
