Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky
38 LEDs have been embedded, and this project features the highest number of the smallest commercially available 0201 package LEDs ever utilized. In addition to light and sound effects, movable elements were also incorporated, controlled by remote. Two servos were used to control x,y axis movements, attempting to simulate space floating and flight effects. Despite our best efforts, the resulting movement evokes the charm of 1970s tokusatsu.
The LED light effects system has been previously implemented in the creation of Red Comet and Gundam Head. With precise calculation, multiple sets of LED switches can be controlled.

Head
The compact, modifiable volume presented a significant challenge. Two LEDs were meticulously fitted inside, with an additional two dedicated to the vulcan cannons. The eyes draw inspiration from the original design, giving it an appearance reminiscent of Baymax.

Arms
According to the design specifications, both shoulders feature thrusters on three sides; their primary function appears to be attitude adjustment. Furthermore, the muzzle was carefully drilled to accommodate an LED.

Legs
Similarly, both legs are extensively equipped with thrusters. A total of 18 LEDs have been integrated into these sections.

Extension Connection
This mechanism is designed to extend the original base, enabling control over larger external attachments. Two servos are installed to precisely control x,y axis movements. For details on the universal base construction, please refer to the introduction of our previous work, Zaku III.
