Japan's Phat! Company (株式会社ファット・カンパニー), known for its high-quality bishoujo figures, will release a new product based on the popular anime and manga series "Chainsaw Man": the "Makima" 1/7 scale figure. It will have a suggested retail price of 28,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2024!
Makima (マキマ) is Denji's superior, a Devil Hunter directly under the Chief Cabinet Secretary. Her personality is elusive, and her background is quite mysterious. She discovered Denji during a routine hunt for Zombie Devils and used a hug to revert his Devil form, recruiting him into the Public Safety Devil Hunters, which made Denji deeply infatuated with her. While appearing gentle, she is in fact a cold-blooded individual who refers to her subordinates as "dogs" and is indifferent to sacrificing them.
The Phat! "Makima" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 28 cm tall (including the base). It faithfully recreates Makima in her signature shirt uniform, distinctive pink hair, and spiral eyes. She is depicted leaning against a ruined stone wall adorned with Chainsaw Man graffiti, with a finger placed to her lips in a "shush" gesture and an enigmatic smile that is hard to decipher. The overall impression exudes a mysterious aura that is both gentle and subtly cold. Her pose, with one leg hooked, allows the folds of her clothing to highlight Makima's curvaceous figure. Her delicate braid gently sways, and her long coat billows behind her, adding a strong sense of dynamism.
