Japanese model manufacturer TOMYTEC's popular 1/12 scale military gear model series 'LittleArmory' once again collaborates with Max Factory's highly popular 'figma' action figure series to release the latest product "JGSDF Member", scheduled for October 2023 release.
The "figma JGSDF Member" is based on the image of a Japan Ground Self-Defense Force infantry member from the 2000s. This unnamed warrior, wearing sunglasses, is recreated as a fully articulated figure approximately 16 cm tall. Features include a two-stage articulated neck design, individually molded knee pads, and double-jointed shoulders, among others, all of which further expand the JGSDF member's range of motion, allowing for very natural poses such as standing at attention, at ease, saluting, and various shooting stances.
The greatest feature of this product is the meticulous reproduction of the complex camouflage patterns on all parts of the equipment, achieved through over 200 transfer printing processes. Accessories include two types of Type 89 rifles, a 9mm pistol that can be stored in its holster, various interchangeable hand parts, and a dedicated display stand. The two Type 89 rifles consist of an "easy-to-handle finished product" and a "sculpt-focused assembly kit," allowing users to choose according to their preference. Furthermore, this product can be combined with various firearms and military equipment from the separately sold LittleArmory series for expanded playability.
