Following the 2020 release of the anime version SSSS.GRIDMAN transformation device "1/1 PRIMAL ACCEPTOR" from Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed brand MECHA SMILE, news has recently been announced that the live-action tokusatsu version Gridman the Hyper Agent transformation device "1/1 ACCEPTOR" is currently in development.
The Hyper Agent Gridman, who appears in the series, is a non-corporeal energy lifeform who came to the human world to pursue the interdimensional criminal "Demon King Kahn Digifer." He resides within the assembled computer "JUNK" in the secret base of the three protagonists, Naoto Sho, Ippei Baba, and Yuka Inoue, and transformed his appearance into the design created by Ippei. When Kahn Digifer unleashes monsters to attack the computer world, Gridman can merge with Naoto via the ACCEPTOR as a medium to stop them.
The currently revealed prototype of the "1/1 ACCEPTOR" perfectly reproduces both the silver, red, blue, and yellow color scheme and the design resembling Gridman's chest. It also features rich sound and light effects, an unfolding mechanism, and a wristband, allowing you to wear it on your wrist and mimic the transformation scene where you merge with Gridman!
