Following Gattai Choushin Thunder Gridman, the completed transforming/combining toy series "THE GATTAI", launched by MECHA SMILE, the mechanical-themed brand under Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, recently unveiled the painted prototype for its latest product based on the live-action series "Gridman the Hyper Agent", "Gattai Ryutei King Gridman". The release date is yet to be determined.
Gattai Ryutei King Gridman is the enhanced form created by the combination of Gridman the Hyper Agent and the support mecha DYNADRAGON. This tyrannosaurus-type mecha is composed of two machines, DYNA FIGHTER and KING JET. In addition to its tyrannosaurus form, which can breathe powerful flames, it can also transform into the highly mobile large fighter jet, DRAGON FORTRESS. When combined with Gridman to form King Gridman, its agility is greatly enhanced, allowing it to utilize the thrusters built into its legs to unleash powerful and rapid kicking techniques.
"THE GATTAI Gattai Ryutei King Gridman" not only faithfully recreates its in-show appearance but also completely reproduces all transformation and combination mechanisms. With the two machines, DYNA FIGHTER and KING JET, it can combine and transform into two forms: DYNADRAGON and DRAGON FORTRESS. Furthermore, it can combine with the Gridman main body to form King Gridman. The previous release, Thunder Gridman, could reproduce all its forms with almost no part swapping, and its faithfully reproduced, precise transformation and combination design received very high praise. This time, the prototype production for Gattai Ryutei King Gridman is also handled by UNITEC, making it highly anticipated.
