World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced their latest collectible figure, the "Black Panther", from the MARVEL comic series "Avengers Mech Strike"! It is expected to ship in Q2-Q3 2024.
The comic series "Avengers Mech Strike", which launched in 2021, tells the story of the "Avengers" facing a new threat and battling it out in bio-humanoid mechs called Biomechanoid Response Units, under the leadership of Iron Man. In this setting, these colossal mechs were designed by Iron Man long ago to prevent an apocalypse, and can be specialized to suit each superhero's abilities, with their outer armor made of Vibranium.
This Hot Toys "Black Panther" Mech Strike armor is inspired by "Avengers Mech Strike" and was designed by renowned concept artist and illustrator "Adi Granov", with 3D designer "Pia Sylphid" bringing his flat illustrations to life. Made with alloy materials in multiple areas, it stands at 35 cm tall with 30 points of articulation throughout the body. The color scheme features a highly textured matte black, silver, and purple, with the overall sharp aesthetic and intricate mechanical structures being utterly captivating. Furthermore, LED light-up functions are integrated into the eyes, the cockpit on the chest, and the arm and thigh joints, complemented by specially painted purple Wakandan script, making it incredibly cool when lit up!
Beyond its unique styling, this figure also features a design that allows it to transform from humanoid to animal form! By utilizing the LED light-up animal form head sculpt, neck parts, interchangeable hands and feet, and an articulated tail, it can display a highly dynamic appearance. Accessories also include a spear, shield, long sword, interchangeable hands, and more, promising a truly distinct experience for Hot Toys collectors.
