BANDAI CANDY, the shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., which issues the shokugan 'Yu-Do' series based on the special effects TV series "Super Sentai," recently announced the new product "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger Yu-Do," based on the latest 2023 work "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger," is expected to be released in May 2023.
This year's "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" is set in a completely fictional fantasy world. A thousand years ago, five heroes fought alongside the guardian deity King-Ohger, defeating the evil "Underground Empire BagnaRac" and protecting humanity. They each established five distinct nations across the continent, enjoying a long period of peace. However, 2000 years later, BagnaRac revives as prophesied, once again invading the human world. The five kings are supposed to renew their alliance and fight together, but Racles, the king of Shugoddam, harbors an ambition to conquer the world, leading protagonist Gira to rebel against him. Thus begins the story of four kings and one who will become king.
The "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger Yu-Do" lineup includes Kuwagata Ohger, transformed by Gira; Tombo Ohger, transformed by Yanma; Kamakiri Ohger, transformed by Himeno; Papillon Ohger, transformed by Rita; Hachi Ohger, transformed by Kaguragi; and Ohkuwagata Ohger, transformed by Racles.
Similar to previous series, by collecting both A and B parts for each king, you can assemble a complete articulated action figure. Each completed king stands approximately 10 cm tall, boasts over 20 points of articulation, and includes interchangeable hand parts. Weapons such as the "King's Sword" and "King's Transform Shield" are also included and can be equipped.
