Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys yesterday (6th) announced several new products celebrating the 40th anniversary of "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi". This article will bring you information on the MMS700 "Darth Vader" 1/6th scale collectible figure Deluxe Version!
This figure stands at 35 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It faithfully recreates the adjusted helmet design, the complete black-themed battle suit, the life support system on the chest, and the control box on the belt, all based on the "Return of the Jedi" settings. The finely tailored fabric cape offers excellent drape and realistic flow. The helmet features a removable faceplate design, allowing collectors to admire the internal structure of the mask and the pale, scar-ridden "Anakin Skywalker" head sculpt. While expertly capturing the facial contours and wrinkles, it also incorporates movable eye technology, enabling a more varied and expressive appearance.
In addition to all the content from the regular version, this Deluxe Version also includes an extra helmet head sculpt that recreates Darth Vader being attacked by Emperor Palpatine's Force lightning. The light-up function makes the blue skull inside the helmet more prominent, and it can be paired with lightning effects for an even more dynamic display. Furthermore, a stepped base and a helmet display stand are also included.
