Hello everyone, today I'll be unboxing and sharing GSC's 「Hatsune Miku MIKU EXPO 5th Anniv. / Lucky☆Orb: UTA X KASOKU Ver.」 with you all.
This is the design from the music video for MIKU EXPO's 5th anniversary song, 「Lucky☆Orb feat. Hatsune Miku」.
I briefly introduced MIKU EXPO when unboxing the 「Hatsune Miku MIKU EXPO 2019 Taiwan & Hong Kong Ver.」 previously; simply put, it can be seen as the overseas version of Magical Mirai.
The dynamism of this design, once materialized, is excellent, and the base design is also a major highlight.
Even kasoku Sato, the MV animation director who created the 3D model, and artist Fantasista Utamaro, who also participated in the MV direction, have given positive praise for the finished product.
What, you're saying MIKU EXPO started in 2014, and its 5th anniversary was already in 2019?
Isn't it common for Miku's designs from a certain year to be materialized and then received several years later? Just get used to it~ XD
Pictures below
The front of the outer box has a large window, allowing buyers to clearly see the main figure at a glance.
The lyrics from the song are presented in a graffiti style around the box, which also serves as an element of the base design.

Contents
Main figure, twin tails, base

Figure overview
The overall sense of dynamism is excellent, with the base and support perfectly integrated.

Detailing
There are few issues with angle limitations, and the headphone details are also well-rendered.

The knots wrapped around the twin tails add richness to the design.
One can imagine that without these knots, the overall look might not be as distinctive.

The common '01' on the left arm has become '0X'.

The clothing is also full of lyrical elements, and the overall design has great consistency.

The over-the-knee boots also feature the same pattern, with a subtle 'biting into the flesh' effect that is excellent.
Surprisingly, even the soles of the shoes have detailed sculpting.

A little bonus

The base is fantastic; its combination with the main figure makes one wonder if Miku is floating in the air upon first sight.

That concludes the introduction to the contents.
The only annual Miku products I consistently collect now are Racing Miku PVC figures and Snow Miku Nendoroids; for concert versions like this, I'm more selective.
However, I highly recommend this 「Hatsune Miku MIKU EXPO 5th Anniv. / Lucky☆Orb: UTA X KASOKU Ver.」.
The quality is impeccable, the visual experience is superb, and it will be a striking presence in any display cabinet!
