Following Valimar, the Ashen Knight, from the MODEROID plastic model kit series by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today marks the announcement of the latest product from the RPG 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel,' the "Ordine, the Azure Knight," scheduled for release in December 2023.
This Ordine, the Azure Knight, piloted by Crow Armbrust, is, like Valimar, the Ashen Knight, one of the seven legendary giant knight-type mobile weapons created to divide and seal the powerful yet unstable Steel Treasure, the "Great Power." It is constructed from the most durable material, Zemurian Ore, and possesses self-awareness and powerful self-repair capabilities. Its consciousness features high-performance AI-like thought circuits, allowing it to understand the pilot's intentions and perform movements with human-like agility,
The "MODEROID Ordine, the Azure Knight" kit is composed of multi-color molded parts and stickers, with the more complex head parts pre-painted. Once assembled, the model stands approximately 17 cm tall, faithfully recreating the cool azure armor with a sharp, intricate design. The various gems are rendered with transparent green parts for a premium feel. The entire body features highly flexible joint designs, allowing for dynamic poses such as high kneeling. The blade-like twin wings on its back can also be deployed, and when combined with its main weapon, the "Twin Blades," it can recreate dynamic combat and flight poses.
