To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Super Sentai series 'Gosei Sentai Dairanger', Bandai Candy's popular assembly model Shokugan series, "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" from Bandai Co., Ltd., Japan, will release "Gosei Gattai DairenOh". The suggested retail price is 2,400 JPY (all 3 types), with an estimated release in August 2023!
The giant warrior "DairenOh", formed by the "Gosei Gattai" (Five-Star Combination) of the five Kiden Beasts — RyuseiOh, Star Shishi, Star Tenma, Star Kirin, and Star Houou — has RyuseiOh's warrior form as its main body. Possessing immense power to combat giant Gorma monsters, it wields various Kiden techniques and its ultimate weapon, the "DaiOhKen" (Great King Sword), making it a strong ally of the Dairangers. Furthermore, it can also form the aerial mobile fortress "Shisei Gattai Tenkū Kiden" (Four-Star Combination Sky Palace) for RyuseiOh to ride.
The "SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] Gosei Gattai DairenOh" is divided into three types: RyuseiOh, Star Shishi & Star Houou, and Star Tenma & Star Kirin. It recreates DairenOh's complex transformation and combination mechanisms with the highest level ever seen in the SMP Sentai series, overcoming the issue of the lower body being almost immobile during combination. Through a re-arranged parts assembly, full-body articulation is achieved, with flexible feet and waist, allowing for dynamic poses of wielding the DaiOhKen in its special attack stances from the show!!!
In addition, it features RyuseiOh's warrior transformation and the Four-Star Combination's flight form. It also includes the DaiOhKen, the Hairyu Kon (Flying Dragon Staff), the Dairen Javelin (formed from the Star Houou's tail), multiple interchangeable hand parts, and an SMP original Tenkū Kiden storage base, among other fantastic designs.
