BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest sixth installment in its Ultraman action figure Shokugan series, "Shodo Alpha Ultraman," titled "Shodo Alpha Ultraman 6," scheduled for release in August 2023.
"Shodo Alpha" is an evolved version of the previous Shodo series, launched in 2022. These Ultraman-themed action figure Shokugan stand approximately 10 cm tall and feature sculpts and colors that faithfully reproduce their original designs. Compared to the old version, a new independent movable part has been added to the hip joint, significantly improving the leg sculpt and range of motion. Each Ultraman figure will come with its dedicated beam effect part, and can be further enhanced with the various weapons included in the expansion parts set!
This sixth installment, "Shodo Alpha Ultraman 6," includes Ultraman Blazar, the protagonist of the latest series "Ultraman Blazar," which is set to premiere in July 2023. His asymmetrical and complex design, a departure from previous Ultraman designs, is faithfully reproduced with rich color applications. Additionally, four other Ultraman characters are included: Zero, Belial, Geed Primitive, and Zett Delta Rise Claw. These figures can be equipped with weapons from the expansion parts set, such as the Giga Battlenizer, Belial's Devil Arm, Zero Sluggers, and Zero Twin Sword, for dynamic play.
