TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced the highly anticipated first product from the popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, based on the acclaimed work "Berserk": "S.H.Figuarts Guts (Berserker Armor)". The suggested retail price is 10,550 JPY, with an estimated release in September 2023!
Guts, the protagonist of "Berserk," is known as the "Black Swordsman" due to his all-black armor and cape, and his signature weapon is the massive "Dragon Slayer" greatsword, which is longer than himself. Not only is his body covered in countless scars from being forced to endure endless battles, but his extremely tragic childhood also left Guts with deep psychological wounds; just when he finally found true friends and a home for the first time in the Band of the Hawk, he was betrayed by the "White Hawk," Griffith...
Guts, who miraculously survived the utterly tragic and terrifying Eclipse, was filled with black rage and embarked on a path of revenge.
The "S.H.Figuarts Guts (Berserker Armor)" action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall. Its articulated body is sculpted from the skeletal structure up, allowing for natural movement while faithfully reproducing the original proportions. Guts' rugged physique is recreated, and the sharp lines and heavy metallic feel of the Berserker Armor are meticulously detailed. Guts' own equipment is layered with rich textures, and the "Dragon Slayer" greatsword, with its battle-damaged details, is particularly striking! In addition to a normal face, it also includes a powerful shouting face and a clenched-teeth, tense expression, both inspired by the original work.
▼The tattered cape is made of fabric and has an internal wire, allowing it to be posed dynamically to match the figure's movements.
▼The "Brand of Sacrifice" on his neck is also exquisitely reproduced!
▼In addition to the Dragon Slayer greatsword, accessories also include the crossbow and cannon.
▼Additionally, S.H.Figuarts Griffith (Hawk of Light) is also available for pre-order simultaneously.
