Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan today announced the latest DX toy, "DX Ohger Calibur ZERO," from the 2023 Super Sentai series latest work, "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger," is scheduled for release in September 2023.
The Ohger Calibur ZERO, wielded by Shugoddam's current king, Racules Hasty, is a golden sword passed down through the Hasty royal family for 2000 years. It reacts only to the DNA of Hasty royal members, and its corresponding guardian deity is the Ohkuwagata God, allowing Racules to transform into Ohkuwagata Ohger and summon King-Ohger ZERO. This sword differs from the modern Ohger Calibur designed by Yanma; its blade features only a single Ohkuwagata lever, not the guardian deities symbolizing the five nations, and its transformation sound effect is "LORD" instead of "KING."
The "DX Ohger Calibur ZERO" is a modified version of the standard DX Ohger Calibur, with an overall length of approximately 52 cm. In addition to changing the color scheme to a luxurious black and gold, new parts were used to create the sword guard design featuring only the Ohkuwagata lever. The blade part also features a transparent component with built-in LED lights, and it includes a wealth of in-show sound effects. Just like Racules, by pressing the trigger and pulling the Ohkuwagata lever, it can emit the Ohkuwagata Ohger transformation sound, unleash the special attack "Ohger Finish," summon guardian deities, and combine into "King-Ohger ZERO," among many other rich sound effects!
