Japan's ACRO company, known for collaborating with renowned sculptors in the industry to create numerous exquisite kaiju model products, has announced the latest addition to its captivating "KAIJU REMIX SERIES (KRS)" P.K series: the "KRS P.K Zetton" soft vinyl figure, originating from the Ultraman series. It has a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in July 2023.
The Space Dinosaur – Zetton is a highly popular kaiju from the Ultraman tokusatsu series, first appearing in the original Ultraman. It was dispatched by the Zettonians as their strongest kaiju weapon to invade Earth. Possessing extremely hard, steel-like skin, immense strength, and the ability to launch one-trillion-degree fireballs, it wields power superior to Ultraman, making it the first kaiju in history to defeat Ultraman.
The "KRS P.K Zetton" soft vinyl figure is sculpted by the brilliant artist Paul Komoda. Based on the original design, it incorporates complex and unique biological elements, meticulously detailing the beetle-like chitinous exoskeleton and pores on its armored body and two horns. Its back wings are covered with highly menacing thorns. The central face and chest emitters are rendered with transparent materials to create a layered effect. Utilizing ACRO's unique "U-VINYL technology" for metal mold casting, the lifelike sculptural details are perfectly reproduced. Standing approximately 40 cm tall, it possesses an overwhelming presence!
