KADOKAWA's KDcolle (KADOKAWA COLLECTION), which has released numerous anime and manga character figures, is scheduled to release a 1/7 scale PVC figure of Elaina, the protagonist of the anime series 'Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina', in January 2024: 'Elaina ~My Adventure Story~' (イレイナ～私の冒険譚～)!
'Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina' (魔女の旅々) is a novel by Japanese author Jougi Shiraishi. It was first self-published by the author on Amazon Kindle in 2014, then revised and released as a paperback by SB Creative in 2016. Sequels have also been released since. The manga adaptation began serialization in November 2018, with four volumes released to date, and an anime adaptation premiered in October 2020, consisting of 12 episodes. The story follows the protagonist Elaina, who, influenced by a book called 'The Adventures of Nike' from a young age, aspires to become a witch and travel the world. At 14, she becomes a witch apprentice and is recognized by her master, the 'Stardust Witch.' Due to her hair color, she is bestowed the title 'Ashen Witch.' The story unfolds as she embarks on her travels, encountering various people, some of whom lead to thought-provoking tales. Her past experiences of becoming a witch are also occasionally interspersed.

This 'Elaina ~My Adventure Story~' figure from KDcolle is materialized in 1/7 scale, standing approximately 25 cm tall. Her outfit primarily consists of a white blouse paired with a short skirt, topped with a witch's robe. The design is based on Elaina riding her broom, holding her staff, and casting a spell. The special effects of the spell's light and smoke are faithfully recreated, flowing seamlessly downwards to merge with the book-shaped base. Coupled with the dynamic pose of Elaina's slender legs beneath her short skirt, the figure appears exceptionally beautiful and textured. Her hair strands and the bag on her back are also meticulously reproduced. Additionally, her witch's hat is removable, making Elaina look even cuter without it.
