LEGO has recently begun to successively announce its lineup of sets expected to be released this summer, and the content is truly exciting. This article will bring you product information on the [[OBJ_3641]] series, specifically the Donkey Kong themed Expansion Sets! There are three sets in total: 71420, 71421, and 71425, in addition to the previously revealed "71424 Donkey Kong's Tree House", allowing you to create even richer tropical scenes.
All three new sets featured here can be played with the [[OBJ_5672]] Starter Course for a more comprehensive gaming experience. Sets 71420 and 71421, with their hundred-plus pieces, focus more on collecting new characters. For instance, "Rambi the Rhino" allows the LEGO Mario, Luigi, and Peach Starter Course figures to ride him, triggering interactive sound effects. In 71421, besides "Dixie Kong" holding a guitar, the brick-built model of the parrot "Squawks", as well as the stage's speakers, lights, and palm trees, are all adorable. The large, brick-built stage can also rotate, which is a fantastic play feature.
Next up is 71425, a set with over a thousand pieces, which creates an impressive mining adventure-themed railway scene! Once assembled, it boasts a powerful width of 51 cm. Not only are there damaged tracks waiting for players to repair, but you can also defeat the Mole Miner, blast rocks to get bananas, and more. The mine cart and airplane shop are also very appealing elements of this set. The characters included are the highly popular Diddy Kong, the robust Funky Kong, Snaggles, and the aforementioned Mole Miner. Additionally, nestled among these four Donkey Kong themed level sets is 71423, the "Dry Bowser Castle Battle".
