Japanese gashapon toy maker Qualia's 'Defying Strong Winds (Kaze ni mo Makezu.)' gashapon series, which features various dogs and cats resisting strong winds with distorted facial expressions, has been extremely well-received since its launch. Now, Qualia is collaborating with The Pokémon Company to release a Pokémon version of the "Pokémon Defying Strong Winds" gashapon toy, which is currently available exclusively at Japan's official Pokémon store, "Pokémon Center".
This Pokémon edition of 'Defying Strong Winds' features 6 Pokémon: Mamoswine, Tangrowth, Chikorita, Yamper, Eevee, and Cubchoo. Continuing the series' signature style, each Pokémon is sculpted in a pose that shows them bravely pushing forward despite facing strong winds.

Even the thick-furred and warm Mamoswine is sculpted with squinted eyes from the wind, while the tiny Eevee's facial features are distorted and all four feet are nearly off the ground. Yamper's perpetually sticking-out tongue and Cubchoo's ever-present snot are also depicted as almost separating from their bodies due to the wind. Every Pokémon's design is incredibly adorable!
