Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division, following the highly popular "Animals in Waiting" series and the mysterious "UMA in Waiting", is once again releasing the much-anticipated third installment, "UMA in Waiting 3"! There are six types in total, with a reference price of 300 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in May 2023.
The original "Animals in Waiting" series, which focused on cute animals, used anthropomorphic poses where animals tuck their feet in and hold their knees, as if patiently waiting, creating a look that is both adorable and a little melancholic.
This sequel, "UMA in Waiting 3", features even more mysterious Unidentified Mysterious Animals (U.M.A.)! The collection includes six types: the unknown alien lifeform Flatwoods Monster, the Alien Mummy, the flying monster Jersey Devil, Bigfoot, and the Flying Cat (White / Black). With sizes ranging from approximately 5 to 8 cm, these Q-version figures capture the fantastical designs of these cryptids. They perfectly convey the complex emotions of U.M.A.s who want to hide, yet also wish to be discovered!
