American toy manufacturer McFarlane Toys' "Page Punchers" series, which focuses on collecting both action figures and comic books, has announced a brand new "Batman" 7-inch action figure! The style is quite hardcore, let's take a look.
The story of "Batman Fighting the Frozen" features members of the Bat-Family, with Mr. Freeze as the villain. This time, Mr. Freeze is once again trying to save his beloved wife, Nora, but with a twist: they have traveled through time to 16,000 years in the past. In order to return to the present, Mr. Freeze continues his experiments, inadvertently bringing a deadly ice age to the surrounding land (what a setting...). Robin, a young tribal warrior, decides to seek help from the leader of the nearby Bat-Clan, Batman, and allies with Batgirl to fight and restore the land to its original state.
This three-dimensional "Batman" action figure stands approximately 17 cm tall and features 22 points of articulation. It faithfully recreates the prehistoric era design from the "Batman Fighting the Frozen" comic, with an aggressively styled Batman cowl that exposes the lower half of his face, spiked gauntlets, a fur-lined utility belt adorned with gear, and warm, functional long boots – all incredibly cool. The cape's design can only be described as super wild. For weapons, he wields a destructive great axe and a machete. The packaging is a blister card that includes the comic.
▼ The aforementioned Robin, Batgirl, and Mr. Freeze also feature unique new designs and their own respective comics.
