Chinese brand dodowo, in collaboration with Japanese horror manga master "Junji Ito" and Miracle Film Studio, is launching the classic manga-colored "Slug Girl of Soume Town" 1/4 scale figure. The estimated retail price is 399 RMB, with an anticipated release in June 2023.
The "Slug Girl of Soume Town" 1/4 scale figure features Yuko, the gossip-loving protagonist from Junji Ito's horror manga work "Slug Girl", recreating her unforgettable... slug form from the story. Standing approximately 20 cm tall, it adopts a manga-style black and white color scheme. The paintwork meticulously reproduces the hair's sheen with manga brushstrokes, and dot-patterned shading is used to recreate the "shell's" sorrowful gaze. The slug's body textures are also realistically carved.
