Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd.'s GASHAPON division, known for its high-quality blind box figure series "Gasha Portraits PREMIUM" featuring anime characters, is once again releasing a product based on "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." Following items such as "Ayanami Rei," "Suzuhara Sakura," and "Asuka," they are now launching the short-haired "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Ayanami Rei (Provisional)," featuring a total of three designs, scheduled for release in August 2023.
The "GashaPortraits PREMIUM Evangelion Ayanami Rei (Provisional)" figures depict Ayanami Rei in her "village girl" appearance from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," where she is seen carrying a military green backpack and farming in the Third Village. These figures boast more luxurious dimensions and coloring! The variations include Ayanami Rei A and Ayanami Rei B, both featuring gradient, translucent hair tips, showcasing two distinct styles.
