BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan today announced the latest product from "Gundam Build Metaverse," the "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Build Strike Exceed Galaxy," from its 'ENTRY GRADE' assembly model series, which is suitable for younger and beginner-level players. It is scheduled for release in October 2023.
The Build Strike Exceed Galaxy is a new mobile suit in the "Build Strike Gundam" series, created by Iori Sei, the protagonist of the first series "Gundam Build Fighters," using the "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Strike Gundam" kit as a base. Compared to later developments like the Star Build Strike Gundam, it more closely resembles the original silhouette of the "Strike Gundam," and its backpack can transform into a support unit. Red clear parts are installed in multiple locations such as the shoulders, chest, and shield. This is the "EG System," an energy super-light circulation armor developed from the "RG System," capable of various forms of enhancement to suit battle conditions.
The "ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Build Strike Exceed Galaxy" continues the refined parts composition and excellent color separation design of the EG Strike Gundam. It features a low number of parts and a simplified assembly process, utilizing a large number of new parts to recreate the head, armor, various red clear parts, and original weaponry. The shield can be equipped with effect parts to reproduce the beam blade deployed state.
The booster backpack is also composed of precise parts and can transform into a support unit, which can be attached to the arms or legs for deployment. Numerous common standard hardpoints are also set throughout the body, allowing for free expansion of weaponry using other Build Fighters series Gunpla, in addition to its own beam saber, beam sword, and shield.
