SYUTO Unveils New "Sesame Ball" and "Tamago Sushi, Ebi Sushi" Model Kits Breaking the 900-Part Barrier! [The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show]

Japanese model manufacturer Akishuto Seikou (SYUTO) today (the 10th) at The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show, exclusively revealed the latest additions to their "Sushi Model" (寿司プラモ) series: "Tamago Sushi, Ebi Sushi," alongside a groundbreaking new product that reaches new heights of absurdity, the "Sesame Ball" 1/1 scale model kit. The latter boasts an astonishing 900 sesame seed parts!

Following the "Cucumber Roll ver.," the latest fifth and sixth installments in the Sushi Model series are "Tamago Sushi, Ebi Sushi." Both are meticulously crafted in 1/1 scale, continuing the series' signature style of using adhesive to meticulously attach a large number of individual vinegared rice parts, each the size of a real grain of rice, before topping them with the ingredients! The tamago and shrimp tails are produced using colored molding, with careful attention to detail evident in the wrinkles of the tamagoyaki and the textures of the shrimp. Assemble your very own sushi masterpiece!

As the popularity of the Sushi Model series continues to soar, and in an effort to push the boundaries of part counts for sushi models, SYUTO has further refined its ingenuity to develop an even more audacious product: the "Sesame Ball" 1/1 scale model kit! Referencing the actual number of sesame seeds that adhere to a real sesame ball, this kit utilizes an incredible 900 individual sesame seed parts for a complete and faithful recreation! Its assembly is perfectly suited for mental and willpower training—there's no limit to the madness, only more madness! More detailed product information and sales specifics will be announced at a later date.
