The latest addition to the "DX Nichirin Sword" series, a "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" themed toy series released by Japanese toy company Bandai, "DX Nichirin Sword ~Mitsuri Kanroji~" has been announced! It is scheduled for release on July 15, 2023.
Although it is a sword-type toy, the "DX Nichirin Sword ~Mitsuri Kanroji~" boasts a total length of 150 cm, combining safety with playability. It faithfully recreates the unique design of the "Love Hashira" Mitsuri Kanroji's sword, which is thin, flexible, and whip-like, as seen in the series. The brightly colored hilt and the cute, girlish tsuba (handguard) are also fully reproduced. After pressing the button on the hilt, the tsuba will light up, and if you swing this DX Nichirin Sword after playing sounds, you will hear various sound effects!
The sound effects section includes over thirty different types! It can be divided into three modes: "Love Breathing Mode (恋の呼吸モード)", "In-Series Roleplay Mode (劇中なりきりモード)", and "Heart-Pounding Mode (tentative translation, きゅんきゅんモード)". Not only can you hear Mitsuri Kanroji's Love Breathing techniques, in-series dialogue, and various sound effects, but even the demons' lines are included!
