Japanese toy company SpiceSeed (スパイスシード), known for releasing high-quality Kinnikuman figures, will launch the latest product in its Kinnikuman series: the "Ashuraman Anime ver." pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 76,780 JPY, and pre-orders will open on their official Japanese website on May 20, 2023. Shipping is expected approximately ten months after pre-order.
Ashuraman, who appears in the "Kinnikuman" series, is one of the Six Devil Knights and the Demon Prince of the Devil Choujins. He is said to be the strongest among the Six Knights. Inspired by Hindu deities, he is designed with a unique appearance featuring three faces (smiling, cold, and angry) and six arms, and can transfer others' arms onto himself. He usually presents a smiling face, switching to different faces when using various techniques.
Based on the "Devil Choujin Team" formed with Sunshine in the "Dream Tag Arc," the "SpiceSeed Ashuraman Anime ver." pre-painted figure faithfully reproduces Ashuraman's proud princely demeanor. Standing approximately 27.5 cm tall, the prototype was sculpted by Shintaro Takahashi, who is participating in SpiceSeed production for the first time. The intricate arm muscles are meticulously sculpted, and every muscular detail is thoroughly brought out through shadow painting. The substantial musculature and three heads with six arms are incredibly striking! The costume also features a heavy metallic paint application, adding to the overall imposing presence.
