Following the release of the Japanese manga hero "All Might" from My Hero Academia, Kaiyodo's "Amazing Yamaguchi" (アメコミヤマグチ) series, known for its focus on American superheroes and impressive articulation, is proud to announce its latest product: the "Amazing Yamaguchi Eijiro Kirishima" action figure! With a suggested retail price of 13,200 JPY, it is scheduled for release in November 2023.
The passionate and cheerful young man with a spiky, swept-up hairstyle – Eijiro Kirishima, whose hero name is "Red Riot," often speaks of "manliness"! The scar above his right eye was caused by his hardened hand scratching him while rubbing his eyes as a child, which is when he discovered his "Hardening" Quirk, allowing him to make his body as hard as steel. Although he considers it an unremarkable Quirk, it balances both defense and offense, embodying the belief that "as long as I'm not defeated in the end, then I'm the strongest, right?"
The "Amazing Yamaguchi Eijiro Kirishima" action figure stands approximately 15.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating his combat-ready hero costume with an exposed upper body. Distinctive details such as his spiky, bird's nest hair, "manly" helmet gear, and sculpted muscles are all meticulously reproduced. The loincloth around his waist has also been designed to minimize interference with the figure's range of motion.
Additionally, it includes interchangeable parts to recreate his "Red Riot Unbreakable" (安無嶺過武瑠) state, where his entire body's hardness and durability are maximized, perfectly capturing his hardened, ferocious appearance! The ball joint design allows for various poses, including a defensive crossed-arm stance.
The scar above his right eye is also meticulously depicted. Face parts include: a basic forward-looking face, a smiling face looking to the left, and hardened-state open-mouth and closed-mouth faces. These can be combined with interchangeable eye parts to alter his gaze, allowing for a vivid recreation of various expressions!
