American toy brand McFarlane Toys' popular "MOVIE MANIACS" series will feature the comedy film "The Hangover" as its theme, releasing a "Alan Garner" 6-inch figure, portrayed by Zach Galifianakis. It will be a global limited edition of 13,000 units, with a suggested retail price of US$25.99, and is expected to be released in July 2023.
"The Hangover," depicting the worst hangover in history, tells the story of Doug, who is about to get married, and his three groomsmen—best friends Phil and Stu, and future brother-in-law Alan. The group drives to Las Vegas for an unforgettable bachelor party! However, upon waking the next day, in addition to a splitting hangover, the messy hotel room also contains an unknown baby, a chicken, and a tiger, but most importantly, the groom is missing! With fragmented memories, they must slowly piece together what crazy events transpired during this out-of-control night and find the missing groom...
The MOVIE MANIACS "Alan Garner" 6-inch figure stands approximately 15 cm tall. It exquisitely captures actor Zach Galifianakis's portrayal of Alan in the film: his iconic full beard, slightly plump physique, and of course, the mysterious baby hanging from his chest is a major highlight! The overall pose features one hand on his hip and the other leaning against a wall, presented in a WB100 Anniversary themed window box packaging. The box interior is printed with "The Hangover" movie logo, recreating the absurd yet adorable look from the film poster. Additionally, it comes with an art card featuring a certificate of authenticity and a surprise mini-card.
