The articulated robot series "MDLX" from Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero officially announced today (17th) its latest product from Transformers, "Starscream," which is now open for pre-order on the threezero official website! Estimated shipping in Q4 2023.
Compared to "DLX," "MDLX" is a toy series that releases characters in a more compact size while maintaining exquisite sculpting and articulation, and is sold at a more accessible price. This latest masterpiece from threezero, "Starscream," stands approximately 20 cm tall, features approximately 50 points of articulation throughout its body, and is built with a die-cast metal frame that ensures both overall articulation and durability. The sculpting and color scheme are based on G1 settings and incorporate threezero's excellent mechanical detail sculpting. While showcasing mechanical charm with high sculpting density, it also injects a more modernized interpretation into the classic design!
Accessories include an additional faceplate, a detachable wing backpack, two laser cannons, two threezero original melee blades, and multiple interchangeable hands. If collectors own "MDLX Optimus Prime," they can also attach Starscream's wing backpack to Optimus Prime's back to recreate the scene from the animation where Starscream impersonates Optimus Prime. Displaying it with "MDLX Megatron" also adds a fun element of Starscream plotting to usurp power.
