Following the release of Leonardo, the "Mecha Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" alloy action figure series, a collaboration between Snap Finger Animation, HEATBOYS, and Taiwanese illustrator "Grass God," officially licensed by Nickelodeon, unveiled product information for "Michelangelo" yesterday (17th)! Shipping is expected in Q3 2023.
Reimagined as a large robot incorporating numerous modern mainstream mechanical design elements, the "Mecha Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Michelangelo" stands at 23 cm tall. In addition to maintaining Mikey's signature orange and green color scheme, the figure features a rich layering of gray, iron gray, and black from its extensive weaponry, along with intricate panel lines and unit number markings on the armor surface. Reflecting Michelangelo's role as the "firepower output" of the team, accessories include a twin Gatling gun, high-output cannons ×2, shoulder-mounted guided missile launchers ×2, giant cruise missiles ×2, leg-mounted guided missile launchers ×2, and his iconic nunchaku ×2! The full-burst configuration with all weapons equipped is incredibly powerful.
The playability also features many clever details, such as a pizza-shaped part to rotate the twin Gatling gun, openable missile hatches, giant cruise missiles with deployable front sections, a flip-open turtle shell cockpit on the back, light-up eyes, and more. The headphones and goggles can also be freely attached and detached for added versatility. The first-run bonus includes a clear green mini Michelangelo & parts for the Turtle Van.
