Japan's Bandai Spirits will release the fierce new product 'S.J.H.U.PROJECT Shin Universe Robo' based on the theme of 'Shin Japan Heros Universe (S.J.H.U.)'. Godzilla, EVA Unit-01, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider, the four great heroes, will make a dream combination appearance!! The suggested retail price is 23,100 JPY, and pre-orders will be available at Premium Bandai, EVANGELION STORE, Toei ONLINE STORE, and Godzilla Store, with release in January 2024.
The 'Shin Japan Heros Universe (S.J.H.U.)' project, announced in 2022, is a collaborative effort by four major rights holders: Toho, Khara, Tsuburaya Productions, and Toei. It connects four film works directed by Hideaki Anno, all titled with "Shin" (シン) – "Shin Godzilla", "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time", "Shin Ultraman", and "Shin Kamen Rider" – into a shared universe. This initiative overcomes complex rights structures to achieve the dream co-appearance of these four great heroes!
Bandai's 'S.J.H.U.PROJECT Shin Universe Robo' features four characters: Godzilla, EVA Unit-01, Ultraman, and Kamen Rider. Each can transform and combine to form the Shin Universe Robo, standing approximately 24 cm tall! Kamen Rider, riding the Cyclone, forms the head, while Ultraman and EVA Unit-01 become the left and right shoulders and legs. The massive Godzilla serves as the main torso, with its fierce head emerging from the chest. The overall design is quite straightforward and powerful! Furthermore, Ultraman's Specium Ray effect part and Godzilla's dorsal fins combine to form a weapon, and EVA's AT Field effect is used as a shield!
Coinciding with the product information reveal, a special PV directed by Hiroshi Butsuda, who has participated in numerous hero works including the Super Sentai series and Kamen Rider series, has also been released!
