Following the previously released ULTRAMAN SUIT JACK, the popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' from BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS today announced the latest product from the anime 'ULTRAMAN', the 'ULTRAMAN SUIT ACE the Animation', scheduled for release in October 2023.
Seiji Hokuto, a junior of Shinjiro Hayata, was severely injured and lost his limbs after a plane crash. The alien Yapool used advanced alien technology to create prosthetic arms and legs for him, allowing him to live a normal life. Later, Yapool also built him the 'ULTRAMAN SUIT ACE', enabling him to fight invaders just like Shinjiro. The performance of this suit is in no way inferior to the Science Patrol specifications used by Shinjiro. It can perform high-speed movements and large jumps using its built-in thrusters, and can fire cannons using its beam generator, or connect beams from both hands to form a large Spacium Blade to cut down enemies.
The 'S.H.Figuarts ULTRAMAN SUIT ACE -the Animation-' is produced in cooperation with Tsuburaya Productions' LSS sculpting division. Based on the anime's design, it faithfully recreates the in-show appearance as a 15 cm articulated figure. The distinctive sharp angular head and large eyes are intricately sculpted, and the entire body is finished with a metallic silver-white paint to give it a substantial feel. Each joint features flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic battle poses such as dashing, jumping, and attacking.
Accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hand parts, a replaceable chest color timer that emits red light, and with beam effects and wrist replacement parts, it can recreate scenes of the beam generator activating, beams from both hands connecting to form a large Spacium Blade, and the cool scene of unleashing the finishing move 'Vertical Guillotine'!
