Hong Kong toy brand threezero's 1/6 scale articulated figure series "FigZero" recently unveiled three new developing prototypes based on the anime "ULTRAMAN" during the online live broadcast program "ULTRAMAN FINAL CELEBRATION LIVE". These prototypes are the "ULTRAMAN SUIT C-TYPE," "ULTRAMAN SUIT ZETTON SUIT," and "ULTRAMAN SUIT JACK SUIT." Release dates are yet to be determined.
The sci-fi manga "ULTRAMAN", created by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, continues the worldview of the original 1966 tokusatsu series "Ultraman." Decades after Ultraman left Earth, the existence of the "Giant of Light" has become history. Shin Hayata, who once merged with Ultraman, gave birth to a boy with innate special powers, who is the protagonist of this work, Shinjiro Hayata. When Shinjiro was 17, he was attacked by the mysterious enemy Bemular, revealing the current situation where Earth is infiltrated by numerous aliens. Shinjiro resolves to don the reinforced armor "ULTRAMAN SUIT" developed by the Science Special Search-Party to become the new generation Ultraman, fighting against aliens like the "Zetton Core" and "Dark Star" who secretly disrupt Earth's order.
The FigZero ULTRAMAN SUIT series products are produced in a 1/6 scale, standing approximately 30 cm tall. They feature numerous articulated points throughout the body, with some joints made of alloy parts, largely reproducing the in-series appearance based on the anime's design. The three new prototypes currently on display—C-TYPE, ZETTON SUIT, and JACK SUIT—are unpainted development prototypes, and it may take some time before they achieve the same level of completion as other ULTRAMAN SUITS alongside them.
Meanwhile, the previously announced new product, "ULTRAMAN SUIT MARIE (Anime Version)," which punishes you on behalf of the Land of Light, is nearing completion in its overall development, and detailed product information may be released soon.
