Released by Japan's CAPCOM Co., Ltd., the 'CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model' statue series, a collaboration with renowned monster sculptors for 'Monster Hunter', has announced the reissue of a popular product: "Gore Magala [Reissue Edition]". The suggested retail price is 16,500 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2023.
The signature monster of 'Monster Hunter 4', Gore Magala, made a popular reappearance in 'Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak'. In its juvenile form, its entire body is covered in jet-black scales, and its massive wing membranes resemble a dark cloak. Lacking eyes, it perceives its surroundings using special scales that spread the Frenzy Virus. Infected creatures develop blood-red eyes, lose their sanity, and eventually succumb to the virus.
The "CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model Gore Magala [Reissue Edition]" statue shares the same specifications as the product released in 2014. Sculpted by Tatsuya Furuichi and supervised by Ryu Oyama, it depicts Gore Magala in its Frenzy Virus state, where its sensory abilities reach their peak, antennae emerge, and wingarms extend. Its entire body is covered in dark scales, and its jet-black wings, like a tattered cloak, exude a menacing aura. The tips of the two horns on its head feature a gradient of purplish-black, complemented by a mouthful of sharp teeth and raised wing claws, showcasing a destructive combat stance!
