BANPRESTO, the toy brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company that excels in showcasing character figures and various prize items, has collaborated with Japan's "Sasuke" (Ninja Warrior) star, Shoji Nakayama, to create a brand new "MASTER STARS PIECE" series. They are launching the high-quality muscle prize figure, "MUSCLE STARS PIECE Nakayama Kinnikun ~Ideal Form~"! It is scheduled for release in December 2023.
Nakayama Kinnikun (なかやまきんに君), whose real name is Shoji Nakayama, is a comedian affiliated with Yoshimoto Shinkigeki. He possesses a perfectly sculpted physique and is not only active in comedy but also highly popular in sports programs, having participated in "Sasuke" multiple times. He once studied muscles in the United States and also won the Muscle Beach International Bodybuilding Competition in the over-40 age group, demonstrating both comedic talent and genuine strength.
The "MUSCLE STARS PIECE Nakayama Kinnikun ~Ideal Form~" prize figure is based on "muscle data" obtained from a high-precision 3D scan of Nakayama Kinnikun himself. The sculpting has been meticulously refined to thoroughly reproduce Nakayama Kinnikun's exaggerated muscles! The shape of each muscle group and even the bulging veins have been personally "muscle-supervised" by Nakayama Kinnikun, creating a figure posed in his perfect form! The paint application also features a glossy, lustrous finish, and his super sunny smile is another major highlight!
