To commemorate the "Avataro Sentai Donbrothers Final Live Tour 2023" which began on April 8, 2023, Bandai's online exclusive store PREMIUM BANDAI will release the "Sunglasses Sword -MEMORIAL EDITION-" weapon prop! The suggested retail price is 16,500 JPY, with an estimated release in January 2024.
The latest work in the Tokusatsu Super Sentai series, "Avataro Sentai Donbrothers (暴太郎戦隊ドンブラザーズ)", is inspired by the Japanese fairy tale "Momotaro" and incorporates "virtual reality" themes.
This time, Don Momotaro's exclusive weapon, the "Sunglasses Sword," is being re-released as a completely new product. The "Sunglasses Sword -MEMORIAL EDITION-" measures a total length of 70 cm, approximately 140% larger than the previously released DX version! The sunglasses-shaped blade is meticulously recreated, and the screw holes are hidden, making the overall design sleeker and more accurately reflecting its appearance and size in the show. It also features an infrared linkage function, allowing it to activate legendary special move sound and light effects when it senses the Don Onitaijin Battle Gear! It includes 12 legendary special moves that never appeared in the show.
Additionally, it includes various dialogue sound effects from Don Momotaro (portrayed by Kouhei Higuchi) and his cheerful companions, as well as 3 exciting BGM songs.
