Japanese gashapon toy manufacturer "State of the Art" (SO-TA / 株式会社SO-TA), in collaboration with the art unit "Gendai Bijutsu Nitouhei" (Modern Art Second Class Soldier), is set to release the highly anticipated third installment of their "Museum Modeling Club" series: the "Museum Modeling Club Vol. 3: 1/35 Scale Toyotamahime Alligator Skeleton" gashapon. There will be four types available, priced at 500 JPY per capsule, with an expected release in September 2023! Additionally, a blind box version will also be released simultaneously.

Following the human skeleton and ancient giant turtle skeleton sculpted by "Fujiwara Katsuhito" of Gendai Bijutsu Nitouhei, this time the spotlight is on the extinct large crocodilian discovered in Osaka, Japan – the Toyotamahime Alligator. The skeleton of this "alligator princess" is meticulously reproduced in 1/35 scale, still boasting a substantial length of approximately 18 cm when rendered three-dimensional! To emphasize its immense size, each variant includes a human skeleton in the same scale. The collection includes: dry brush weathering, ivory white luminous, and brown, making up four types in total, all faithfully recreating the intricate textures of the bones, including its sharp teeth and finely detailed tail. A dedicated display stand is also included.
