To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1973 tokusatsu series "Kamen Rider V3", Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse's large-scale light-up statue series 'Ultimate Article' has announced its latest product, "Kamen Rider V3", slated for release in October 2023.
"Kamen Rider V3" is the second series in the Kamen Rider universe, following the original. It describes how the remnants of the Shocker organization, defeated in the previous work, once again established a new evil organization called Destron. Shiro Kazami, Takeshi Hongo's junior, witnessed Destron's crime scene, leading to his entire family being murdered before his eyes. Fueled by revenge and seeking power, he voluntarily became a cyborg, transforming into "Kamen Rider V3" to fight Destron, gradually unlocking 26 secret powers through battles and training.
"Ultimate Article Kamen Rider V3" boasts an imposing size of approximately 40 cm in height. Its sculpt meticulously recreates details based on the actual suit used back then, including the compound eyes, helmet, irregular indentations on the chest, and the mud-stained yellow gloves. The "V3 HOPPER" accessory on the side of the belt can be detached independently. The arms can recreate two poses, "standing pose" and "V3 signature pose," by swapping parts. The base nameplate can also be switched between two versions: the series title "Kamen Rider V3" and a version with only the V3 logo.
Furthermore, this statue also features rich sound and light effects. By flipping the switch on the base, two modes of sound and light effects can be activated. Mode one illuminates the head's "C-Compound Eyes" and "O-Signal Lamp" and plays V3's transformation sound effect. Mode two makes the two fan lights on the "Double Typhoon" belt rotate at high speed, playing a rotation sound effect, along with the 180-second theme song "Fight! Kamen Rider V3"!
