Following the upcoming release of the BuCUE from the robot-themed action figure series "ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E.", issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., it was officially announced today that a new product, the "LaGOWE" from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", will be commercialized. Full product details are scheduled to be revealed on June 1, 2023.
Also a ZAFT ground-combat quadrupedal mobile suit, the TMF/A-803 LaGOWE is a superior model to the TMF/A-802 BuCUE. It can similarly traverse rugged, obstacle-filled terrain with its agile four legs and leg-mounted treads. This unit utilizes beam weapon technology captured from the Earth Alliance, featuring a twin beam saber in its mouth and a twin beam cannon mounted on its back. Consequently, it requires a more complex two-person cockpit and a larger generator.
From the product images, it can currently be seen that the "ROBOT魂 LaGOWE ver. A.N.I.M.E." utilizes numerous new parts to faithfully recreate its characteristic orange armor across its entire body, the commander unit's head with its blade-shaped antenna, and the twin beam cannon mounted on its back. Effect parts for the beam saber and beam cannon are also included as accessories.
