The 『MODEROID』 assembly model series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, recently unveiled the unpainted prototype of the Kaiju Battleship "Zaunderas" from the theatrical anime film 《GRIDMAN UNIVERSE》. The release date is yet to be determined.
The Kaiju Battleship Zaunderas is an aerial transport battleship utilized by the protagonists of the 'Gridman Alliance' in the film. Normally, it assumes a fortress-like ship form, and during the final battle, it can even combine with the giantized 2nd Generation (Kaiju Girl) to become a battle form resembling Anoshillus.
Currently, the prototype of the "Kaiju Battleship Zaunderas" only showcases its battle form after combining with the 2nd Generation. It has been announced that it may be released in the future through either the 『MODEROID』 assembly model series or 『THE GATTAI』 series, which features transformation and combination mechanisms. We can anticipate a mechanism that allows it to transform from its fortress form to its battle form.
